I’m a big fan of sardines! They are similar to Herrings and quite healthy. Sardines are very high in Omega-3s, which support cardiovascular health. This is a perfect appetizer to pair with some sparkling wine.
- 1 can of sardines
- 15 g cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 shallot
- zests of half a lime
- Puree the sardines, cream cheese ans olive oil in a blender.
- Peel the shallot, chop it into little pieces and add them to the sardines.t
- Wonderful as a bruchetta or bread spread. Season to taste with lime zests.
